Pronto, the Mexican startup that has received recognition in Silicon Valley, California; has formally begun operations in Puerto Vallarta and Bahía de Banderas.

During a presentation held at the Nuevo Vallarta Business Center, Rodrigo Pérez, Pronto’s head of government relations, announced that this mobility platform or taxi app has operations in 14 Mexican cities and is expected that by the end of this year they will be active in more than 30 locations in the country.

Pronto’s main objective is to transform cities through technology and innovation, in order to achieve sustainable social mobility.

Pronto’s main differentiator is to offer fair prices to users looking to move safely and efficiently, integrating drivers (both independent, from other platforms and taxi service) with a monthly membership (as a subscription) and always respecting all of their income.

At a national level, Pronto’s community has more than 150,000 users and more than 1.5 million trips in the different locations where they have presence, such as Puebla, Tepatitlán, Zapotlanejo and Tlaxcala, where this app that offers ride-sharing was born.

“We are very happy to start operations in Vallarta · Nayarit, an open destination to use technology platforms. Pronto is a company valued in millions of dollars and we should be proud to be able to enjoy a service that can move us us safely, at a very low cost and to all places in the bay,” concluded Rodrigo Pérez.

To start using this service, download the app for iOS and Android.

“Vallarta Lifestyles is very helpful for someone who arrives for the first time to the destination, because through its content one can discover really nice places to visit. Besides, it is a guide for us as residents, because we know from a good source the new things we can do. People take the magazine and in one place they find hotels, restaurants, galleries, real estate and other featured services.”

“One of the biggest benefits of advertising in Vallarta Lifestyles is that a lot of readers keep it as a bible. People have arrived to our gallery looking for the pieces that are in the advertisements published 5 or 6 years ago, and that’s really valuable for us. Besides being an excellent magazine where is possible to find the newest in the destination, it is a publication dedicated to the public we want to reach and keep.”

“When I first opened my gallery in 1986, my relationship with Vallarta Lifestyles started for the need of people to know me and, because it is one of the very few quality publications in the destination, I decided to advertise in it. There are clients that still remember me for the magazine, with whom I have had several years of relationship.”
