Acclaimed chef Thierry Blouet’s restaurant in Punta de Mita is equally inspired by the white prickly pear, the vibrant designs and colors provided by fashion design firm Pineda Covalin, and the white tuna fish that is commonly captured around the Marieta Islands by local fishermen. As opposed to Blouet’s flagship restaurant Café des Artistes, this oceanfront location feels more Mexican, chic and romantic, with off-the-grill lunch and dinner specialties created by him along with disciple Ramon Alvarez taking center stage. Terrace and beach seating, a broad variety of exotic, tequila- or mezcal-based beverages and outstanding wine selections complement the experience.
