Patricia Velasco, better known as Patricia Fascinante, is a Mexican-American writer and life coach who is beginning her career in the literary world with her book Fascinante.

In an exclusive interview with the Vallarta Lifestyles editorial team, the author tell us more about her inspiring work, set in some of Puerto Vallarta’s most distinctive locations.

Patricia describes herself as a “little box of surprises”. In addition to writing, she has advocated for immigrant rights in Denver, Colorado, and worked as a paralegal in a law firm. Her energy and zest for life reflect her personality. Patricia considers herself a spiritual and compassionate woman and attributes her love of life to Puerto Vallarta, where she is from.

Patricia’s passion for writing began in January 2023. She completed Fascinante in just two months and it became a bestseller the day after it was published. The author is currently immersed in the creation of her second book, demonstrating her dedication and commitment to the art.

When asked about the plot of Fascinante, Patricia replied: “It is an autobiography about self-improvement and faith. Through its pages I share my personal story with the aim of leaving a legacy for my family and providing motivation for those who want to better themselves in life. My work is an inspiring testimony of how to face challenges and find strength in the midst of adversity.”
