As part of the Restore Coral Mural Project that took place in our destination at the end of 2016, on the corner of Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez and Juárez streets, there is a mural in pastel tones created by Veracruz artist Eva Bracamontes (@evabracamontes01).

Painted on an old building characteristic of the highland architecture that is still preserved in El Centro, it depicts an indigenous baby with a colorful headdress, an aggressive-looking sea creature and a beautiful indigenous woman with a pink coral crown. Her hands indicate that she is protecting her most precious treasure. The composition is complemented by a diversity of tropical plants in light tones.
