And there you are, right in front of the door of a plane that flies to 10,000 feet, with the equipment on and an experienced instructor giving you final instructions before your leap into the void. The emotion is super intense, a rare mixture of excitement, nerves and fear, all at their peak.

Finally, you jump, and all that emotion is released, giving way to a euphoric sense of relief. During your freefall, which lasts approximately 60 seconds, there is nothing else to think about… everything else takes a back seat. Experiencing that minute is a privilege, seeing how the mountains merge with the sea and viewing all our destination’s attractions from an unparalleled perspective, with adrenaline pumping through every cell of your body. As your fear dissipates, you notice how your shouts are drowned in the void, and for a brief moment you feel the enormity of this beautiful world that seems to be rushing up at you.

At 5,000 feet, the parachute opens, and you descend for between five and seven minutes before landing on the beach. Those last seconds in the air are the perfect time to look around you and store the memories of those landscapes and emotions, as well as to concentrate on getting ready to return to solid ground.

This extreme adventure, for ages 8 and up, begins with a plane ride south, over Puerto Vallarta and Mismaloya, to a point midway between Boca de Tomatlán and Yelapa, before heading back north. At the height of the Pitillal River, your aerial feat begins.

With strict security measures and certified by the United States Parachute Association, Skydive Vallarta offers this incredible not-to-be-missed experience during your stay in Puerto Vallarta.
