Majahuitas Beach: To Set Sail and Anchor the Boat
A good plan to enjoy a relaxing day in Puerto Vallarta is to set sail for Majahuitas Beach, which, with its lush vegetation and no marked paths, offers a private access road by sea. In addition, it offers incredible natural scenery with golden sand, turquoise waters, gentle waves and a very intimate setting.
Before embarking, it is advisable to be prepared with sufficient refreshing drinks, as well as your favorite snacks and foods, because here you will not see restaurants or other establishments. If you wish, you can also take your snorkeling gear to peacefully observe the marine life that gathers at this site.
Because this small beach is located on the South Shore, between Quimixto and Yelapa, in the municipality of Cabo Corrientes, the most natural thing to do is to set sail in the morning to enjoy the pleasant weather, as well as the sea breeze and the soft rays of the sun, while you contemplate the scenery and tranquility of the surroundings from the boat.
Upon arrival, you can stay on board and admire how the mountain vegetation merges with the sea, while you take a little sun and listen to the relaxing sounds of nature. Another good idea is to jump into the water and explore the underwater environment or swim to the shore, where you can lie on the sand, take a short walk or play a friendly game of volleyball with your companions.
After enjoying Majahuitas, you can return a little before the sun goes down to admire a magnificent sunset from the boat.
