Riviera Nayarit, one of the most popular beach destinations in Mexico, will host the 10th edition of the Wind Festival, which will take place in Marítima, Nuevo Vallarta from May 17th to 19th, 2019.

This area offers exceptional climatic conditions for water sports such a strong and constant winds, long waves and a 5-kilometer-long beach, making it the perfect setting for high level competitions.

The Wind Festival aims to improve the quality of water sports in our country and promote Riviera Nayarit as the perfect place to practice them. It will take place on the entire coast of Nuevo Vallarta – La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, approximately 20 minutes from the Puerto Vallarta International Airport.

The event sponsors the International Kiteboarding Championship in Mexico and is organized by the Mexican Association of Kiteboarding. It will have four competitions in different modalities of kitesurfing: Down Wind, Free Style, Course Racing and Big Air.

In addition to being a highly anticipated competition for participants and fans, the Wind Festival will offer two exciting parties starting at 8:00pm at Marítima Nuevo Vallarta:

May 17th, 2019

Sequencers, Vongold and Los Fugazzi.

May 18th, 2019

Sussie 4, Hybrid, Pepe Mogt (Nortec/Fussible/Latinsizer) and Cheto.
