25th Anniversary of Puerto Vallarta’s International Gourmet Festival

From November 19th to 24th 2019, Vallarta · Nayarit will host the 25º edition of International Gourmet Festival, one of the most anticipated and recognized events of Mexico.

To celebrate this landmark, the festival will feature more than 30 restaurants, as well as 37 guest chefs from 10 different countries, who among the local chefs will prepare some of their most famous recipes to seduce the most demanding palates.

Calendar of Events of the 25th International Gourmet Festival

· November 19th 2019 (8:00pm)
The Grand Gourmet Village
A gala to celebrate the official opening featuring different gastronomic samples, as well as excellent wines and tequilas, plus music and the presentation of the guest chefs. The gathering point will be the Conventions Center of Vidanta (Paseo de Las Moras S/N, Nuevo Vallarta).

· November 20th 2019

Great Day with Great Chefs
This culinary show will feature three huge talents of cooking and founders of this festival: Thierry Blouet, Heinz Reize y Roland Menetrey. This event will take place at Café des Artistes (Guadalupe Sánchez 740, El Centro).

Theme Night by Restaurante ICÚ
An intimate Mexican dinner to enjoy the dishes made by the national chefs Mauricio Leal y Josué Jiménez, who are in charge of ICÚ’s kitchen ( Av. Francisco Medina Ascencio 2550, Zona Hotelera).

Safari Gourmet
A gastronomic tour to know more about the distinctive flavors of four of the most representative restaurants of El Centro and the Romantic Zone of Puerto Vallarta: Café des Artistes (Guadalupe Sánchez 740, El Centro), Azafrán (Olas Altas 507, Emiliano Zapata), Kaiser Maximilian (Olas Altas 380-B, Emiliano Zapata) y El Dorado (Púlpito 102, Emiliano Zapata).

· November 21st 2019 (8:30pm)
Theme Night at Café des Artistes
A six course dinner under the stars, where you can enjoy the tasty dishes made by Gergely Futó y Prónik Balázs, guest chefs from the Hungarian restaurant Platán Restaurant & Café, which has a Michelin star. The scenario for this dinner will be Café des Artistes (Guadalupe Sánchez 740, El Centro).

Culinary Forum
Event for gastronomy students who will have the opportunity to listen experiences and tips given by the best national and international chefs, who will be gathered at Teatro Vallarta (Uruguay 184, 5 de Diciembre).

Suiza Gourmet Night at Coco Tropical
A four course dinner to enjoy the best recipes of the Swiss gastronomy and the Mediterranean.
The host restaurant will be Coco Tropical (Basilio Badillo 101, Emiliano Zapata).

Xocodiva’s Cult of Chocolate
An activity dedicated to the chocolate lovers, who will enjoy a variety of products made with this delicious ingredient. The host will be Xocodiva (Basilio Badillo 268, Emiliano Zapata).

The restaurants Kaiser Maximilian (Olas Altas 380-B, Emiliano Zapata) & Stars Gourmet Grill (Av. Fluvial Vallarta 239, Fluvial Vallarta) will feature a menu created specially for this event.

· November 24th 2019
(12:00pm – 4:00pm)
Festival Gourmet Finale
The event will close with an elegant reception featuring the best dishes made by different hotels and restaurants of Vallarta · Nayarit. This closing ceremony will take place at MozzaMare beach club (Av. Paseo de Los Cocoteros L-53, Villa 8-11, Flamingos).

Theme Nights to Chose
The last activity of this festival will be a dinner at Azafrán (Olas Altas 507, Emiliano Zapata) or Trio Restaurant (Guerrero 264, El Centro), where you may taste a seven course menu with wine pairing.

It is expected that the 25th International Gourmet Festival gathers more than 25 thousand asistans during its six days full of delicious gastronomy activities.
