In order to pay tribute to this traditional dish of the Mexican cuisine, San Pancho, Nayarit, will host the Second Sope Festival from December 15th to 18th, 2022.

The Riviera Nayarit restaurant that organizes this culinary event is Su Pancha Madre (Algeria 28, San Pancho), a cozy place whose specialty is precisely gourmet sopes.

“This festival fuses the creativity of modern cuisine with a traditionally Mexican dish. Each night, there will be a five-course dinner to enjoy, which will be prepared by a team of chefs from different parts of the world”, says Mao Calderón, chef-owner of Su Pancha Madre.

Participating Chefs:

  • Max Mahoney (New Zealand)
  • Lily Guns (Netherlands)
  • Carlos Walker (Mexico)
  • David Ibáñez (Mexico)
  • Leo Malric (France)
  • Andrea Nardo (Italy)
  • Rodrigo Dragonetti (Mexico)
  • Miguel Báez (Argentina)
  • Rudy Poblete (Mexico)
  • Gabriel Pegueros (Dominican Republic)

The inauguration of this culinary festival will be at 6:00pm at Plaza del Sol with performances by Luz de Luna, a folkloric ballet; and Batalá, a samba and reggae band.

“We have been advertising in Vallarta Lifestyles since the opening of our restaurant, and since then, we have kept a strong relationship. Due to its scope and distribution, the campaigns that we advertised regarding our different culinary projects have always been a success. This magazine has been consolidated as a benchmark that promotes the beauty of our destination in a creative and effective way.”

“Vallarta Lifestyles, from its inception has been a quality reference. In some way, it has managed to consolidate the destination because all our restaurants where there and we communicate as an exchange platform. The benefit, besides advertisement and recommendation, is that this publication is a solid copy of Puerto Vallarta’s evolution. If you pick up an old issue, immediately you’ll recall precious memories.”

“Vallarta Lifestyles is very helpful for someone who arrives for the first time to the destination, because through its content one can discover really nice places to visit. Besides, it is a guide for us as residents, because we know from a good source the new things we can do. People take the magazine and in one place they find hotels, restaurants, galleries, real estate and other featured services.”
