When it comes to wellness activities, yoga is one of those that quickly come to our minds due to the increasingly number of people who practice this discipline and share its benefits for both body and soul. In Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit there’s an enormous variety of spaces and classes, for beginner to advanced, that offer this mental and physical discipline of Indian origin.

They include the following:

In Sayulita, Hotelito Los Sueños offers retreats and classes taught by internationally renowned teachers.

The beachfront location of Villa Ananda in Punta de Mita makes this luxurious yoga center a worldwide favorite. Their day spa packages with aromatherapy and massages are the ideal complement.

In Puerto Vallarta, the Hotel San Trópico in Marina Vallarta also has its own yoga studio, with morning and evening classes. Davannayoga has several spaces, one offering a spectacular view of the bay from the hills of the city center.

The yoga classes offered by the public library, La Biblioteca Los Mangos, are very popular among the local community.

Surrounded by mountain and sea, the yoga space at Casitas Maraika, south of Puerto Vallarta, has no comparison. They organize, among other things, walks through the jungle from Boca de Tomatlán to the isolated tropical hotel. And for the best yoga with a paradisiacal view, consider Judith Roth’s Sky Temple in Yelapa.
