Recently, authorities of the Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico (GAP) announced that both Terminal 2 and the complete remodeling of the Puerto Vallarta International Airport will be ready by the end of 2024.

This information was confirmed by Miguel Cravioto, representative of GAP, who was interviewed by Vallarta en Línea.

“By the end of 2024, the 7 billion pesos that are being invested in both the remodeling of the current airport and the construction of the new terminal building will be reflected,” he commented.

On August 2022, the construction on the new terminal building at the Puerto Vallarta International Airport officially began, which will have a surface area of more than 68,000 square meters, which means a growth of 150 percent. In addition, there will be an increase from 11 to 19 boarding bridges, as well as an increase from 9 to 16 remote boarding gates (78 percent more). In other words, this work will give passengers more space and make their trip more comfortable and pleasant.

It will also be the first Zero Energy airport terminal in Latin America. This will be achieved within 7.5 years through several strategies, which include: the use of solar panels on the roof of the building, which will lower energy consumption by 40 percent compared to other airports with the same characteristics; and efficient water management through the reuse of 100 percent of the gray, black and blue water generated inside and outside the terminal, which will reduce water consumption by 35 percent; among other elements.

According to GAP reports, the Puerto Vallarta International Airport’s Terminal 2 will have the capacity to mobilize 4.5 million passengers per year.

"Since we started the company we have advertised in Vallarta Lifestyles, a publication that is considered ‘Puerto Vallarta’s Magazine’ by the quality of its images, content and staff, unique characteristics that encouraged us to say: ‘We have to be in Vallarta Lifestyles’. We know that this magazine is a reference for the target market that we are looking for and we know that being there gives us prestige.”

“Among other things, Vallarta Lifestyles stands out for its strong presence throughout our destination, from five stars hotels to brand new condominiums, where they finally find the type of clients that we look for. For all of us is very important to be in print media to strengthen our advertising strategy and this magazine is essential to achieve it.”

“We started to advertise 7 or 8 years ago and certainly it has helped us position our brand. Now that we have improved a lot in quality, processes and finished products, our marketing in the magazine is precisely to strengthen the leadership we have earned through the 13 years in the area. I also think that we also have grown with the advertisement and that it has been done and it has helped us get to where we are now.”
