Announcing the Raicilla, Mezcal, and Craft Beer Festival in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle
On November 18th and 19th, 2023, La Cruz de Huanacaxtle will become the epicenter of flavor with the fourth edition of the Festival de Raicilla, Mezcal y Cerveza Artesanal (FERAMECE) (Raicilla, Mezcal and Craft Beer Festival).
Under the theme “Hijos del Agave” (Sons of the Agave), the event, which will take place at the impressive Marina Riviera Nayarit, promises to exceed attendees’ expectations with an irresistible blend of tradition, innovation, and entertainment.
Festival founders and directors Ali Modad González and Juan Manuel Castiglioni announced that this year, in addition to a wide selection of exquisite raicillas, mezcals and craft beers, there will be a diverse cultural program to complement the visitor experience.
In addition to guided tastings by renowned chefs and bartenders, the festival will feature a DJ zone for those who want to enjoy music while exploring the exhibitors’ offerings.
With steady growth, FERAMECE expects to welcome around 6,000 people in 2023, a significant increase from the 4,500 registered in the previous edition. One of the highlights of this edition will be the exciting Mixology Contest, coordinated by BEVA Club, which will challenge bartenders to create innovative cocktails based on agave distillates under the theme “Sabores de México” (Flavors of Mexico).
The festival begins on Saturday at 2:00pm and continues Sunday at the same time, with free admission on both days. Visitors are encouraged to bring a new or gently used toy to be donated to a good cause through DIF Bahía de Banderas.
