This initiative is part of the #WorldBeachRescueDay movement that will be celebrated simultaneously in eleven countries on July 9, including United States, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom and Filipines. The movement aims to built a collective awareness about maintaining our beaches clean and the preservation of the natural environments.

Over 100 volunteers participated in the first edition of “Barefoot por Vallarta” celebrated last year, where 400 bags of refuse were collected.
