This beautiful micro-destination, whose name means “place of divers,” is located in the Banderas Bay area, only 18 kilometers from the Puerto Vallarta International Airport.

Bucerías

Attractions

One of the main attractions of Bucerías, in Riviera Nayarit is its beautiful beach. Due to its location, the sea is very calm, making it ideal for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking and paddleboarding. It is also possible to go horseback riding along its kilometer-long golden sandy coastline.

The downtown is also one of its attractions, as it preserves the facades of old houses, cobblestone streets and various craft stands. The Plaza de Armas is a meeting point for both residents and visitors.

There, the church dedicated to the Our Lady of Peace, whose image has a beautiful history, stands out. It is said that, during its transportation by boat to this small town, the sea was rough. The sailors, frightened, asked her to calm the storm so they could arrive safely. Miraculously, the sea calmed down and, since then, it received the name of Virgen de la Paz (Lady of Peace).

Finally, on your walk through the town, you will also find several restaurants where you can enjoy delicious food, mostly prepared with the catch of the day.

“Vallarta Lifestyles is really well positioned. We are aware of that because we have seen people who arrive to our jewelry with the issue or the advertising in hand asking about the product that is featured there. This dynamic is really interesting for us and makes us glad.”

“Vallarta Lifestyles, from its inception has been a quality reference. In some way, it has managed to consolidate the destination because all our restaurants where there and we communicate as an exchange platform. The benefit, besides advertisement and recommendation, is that this publication is a solid copy of Puerto Vallarta’s evolution. If you pick up an old issue, immediately you’ll recall precious memories.”

“Vallarta Lifestyles was the first reliable magazine that emerged in our destination. In fact, up to date is the only publication that we have in Puerto Vallarta that you can be proud of, because if you give it to someone, you know that person will enjoy watching the photos and reading the articles in each of its pages. I consider, that it is the only magazine that prevails in Vallarta · Nayarit as an icon of this genre”.
