Casitas Maraika hosted Elliot the Furniture Concert
The Mexican music group played at the resort’s beach club.
This past Sunday, October 15, the rock music group Elliot the Furniture played at the Casitas Maraika eco-resort’s monthly event “Maraika Sessions”. Originally from Guadalajara, the band is composed by Aldo Quintero (bass), Fito Delgado (guitar), “Cache” (drummer), Álvaro (guitar) and Andrés (vocalist, guitar and ukelele). They were joined by special guests, musicians Leo (saxophone) and Erick (trumpet).
The band played for nearly 30 people, who enjoyed songs from the band’s first and second albums “Wish Me Luck” and “Punk”.
“This is our first time in Puerto Vallarta and Casitas Maraikas and it’s been amazing. This is a beautiful place, it’s like a paradise. We arrived at the resort last night by boat and we felt like if we were pirates discovering an island. Somehow, we are not only performing for all these people but also for the sea and nature”, said Andrés, Elliot the Furniture vocalist.

Casitas Maraika is located on the Banderas Bay south shore and features boutique, oceanfront cabins which are ideal for a relaxing, disconnected stay in contact with nature.
