According to the Administración Portuaria Integral (API), this month cruise activity continues in Puerto Vallarta, so our destination will register 11 cruise ship arrivals in May, bringing thousands of cruise passengers to enjoy our city.

From January to April of this year, 82 cruise ships have docked in Puerto Vallarta, being 18 on January, 19 in February, 23 in March and 22 in April.

During this month, the activity began on Sunday with the docking of the Caribbean Princess, followed with the Carnival Panorama on May 3rd and then Noordam is scheduled for May 7th.

According to the Ministry of Tourism, it is estimated that 2,313 cruise ships will arrive at the Mexican ports, this is 177.7 percent more than the 833 in 2021 and only 21.6 percent below the 2,951 cruise ships that arrived in 2019.

In 2021, the five ports that received the highest number of cruise passengers were Cozumel, Mahahual, Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlán; which represented 89.7 percent of total passengers and 87.4 percent of arrivals.

“Vallarta Lifestyles has readers from Punta de Mita to Mismaloya and beyond, so announcing my business, means the positioning and recognition of my agency throughout the region. The contents of the magazine are very interesting, because they provide relevant information about activities in the destination. I am pleased to see it at hotels, restaurants and galleries, but what excites me the most is to see people with their issue in hand. That is really relevant for us.”

“When I first opened my gallery in 1986, my relationship with Vallarta Lifestyles started for the need of people to know me and, because it is one of the very few quality publications in the destination, I decided to advertise in it. There are clients that still remember me for the magazine, with whom I have had several years of relationship.”

“Advertising in Vallarta Lifestyles is an easy and direct way to reach all of the visitors and new residents that arrive to the destination. Of the 30 years that the magazine has been in circulation, we have been advertising for 23 years and without any doubt, it has been worthy for the big positioning that we have achieved. Besides, the quality of contents its unique in this area.”
