Davannayoga, a yoga center in Puerto Vallarta, has recently announced dates for its Summer Yoga Teacher Training to take place from July 3 – 20 in Puerto Vallarta. This 200-hour training offers an international certification in Vinyasa style and is recognized by the International Yoga Alliance, one of the most important organizations for yoga teachers in the world.

The Krishnamacharya parameters for sequencing vinyasa are the roots of this training. To help those registered to be well-rounded practitioners or teachers, they will also be instructed on Hatha yoga, Children’s yoga, Restorative yoga and prenatal yoga as well as working with Seniors. Davannayoga has trained over 200 certified teachers from around the world. The program is lead in English with some Spanish translation if needed.

One of the advantages of this summer training is that it is offered in a working yoga shala, so you will have hands-on experience assisting students in the community classes and learn about teaching methodology.

Davannayoga is located at Matamoros 542 (corner with Corona street), El Centro.

“Vallarta Lifestyles, from its inception has been a quality reference. In some way, it has managed to consolidate the destination because all our restaurants where there and we communicate as an exchange platform. The benefit, besides advertisement and recommendation, is that this publication is a solid copy of Puerto Vallarta’s evolution. If you pick up an old issue, immediately you’ll recall precious memories.”
