Everything is Ready for the 17th Puerto Vallarta Half Marathon

Next Sunday, November 7th, 2021, one of the most traditional sporting events in the destination will take place on the Av. Francisco Medina Ascencio: the 17th Medio Maratón Puerto Vallarta (Puerto Vallarta Half Marathon).

As usual, this race will bring together this sport enthusiasts to compete in two races:

• 5 KM – Starting early at 7:00am (The route starts at the “Agustín Flores Contreras” Sports Unit until reach the Sunscape Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa, then to return to the starting point)
• 21 KM – Starting early at 6:50am (The route starts at the “Agustín Flores Contreras” Sports Unit towards the Pitillal River bridge, where runners will make right along the riverbank until reach UNIRSE, then towards Av. Grandes Lagos until intersection with Jesús Rodríguez Barba Street. From there, runners will go to Av. Francisco Medina Ascencio to reach the airport and return to Marina Vallarta main streets. Once again, runners will return over the Av. Francisco Medina Ascencio until they reach the finish line located in the starting point)

Categories for both races are female and male (18 – 29 years old, as well as 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59 and 60 and up).
