Fall Events in Puerto Vallarta 2022

Throughout the year, different Puerto Vallarta events bring the community together for enjoying celebrations, delicious food, and friendly competition.

So, by the end of the year, there are several events on the horizon, so this is an excellent opportunity to immerse in Mexican culture.

Centenary of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church
October 12th, 2022

Lighting up the Puerto Vallarta skyline is the iconic Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. For 100 years, this religious building has been the heart of the community and, on October 12, the church will celebrate its centenary. Events and celebrations include cultural and musical performances, religious festivities and friendly sporting competitions.

UTMB World Series
October 28th – 30th, 2022

Puerto Vallarta is now the official venue of the UTMB® World Series, a series of races that are both exhilarating and impressive. This event will bring together some of the best athletes in the world, so there will be different competitions such as the Patasalada 10 KM and the Wixárika 174 KM.

Day of the Dead
November 1st and 2nd, 2022

Day of the Dead is one of the most iconic seasonal events in Puerto Vallarta. During these two days, families will be visiting to grave sites, cleaning them up and sharing memories of their loved ones. Around town, there will be a plenty of festive decorations and traditional altars to honor community members who have passed away.

International Fishing Tournament
November 9th to 12th, 2022

The 66th International Marlin and Sailfish Tournament in Puerto Vallarta is open to both national and international anglers. Known for great sport fishing, stunning views, and an incredibly good time, this fishing tournament is one of a kind.

International Gourmet Festival
November 10th to 20th, 2022 

Vallarta · Nayarit is known for its delicious culinary scene and the International Gourmet Festival pays tribute to that with a ten-day celebration. Over 60 chefs and 30 restaurants will participate in one of the largest showcases of culinary talent in Mexico.

Puerto Vallarta Half Marathon and 5K
November 9th, 2022

During the morning of this day, streets will be closed for the Puerto Vallarta Half Marathon and 5K. Along the way, racers will get to run alongside the city’s river, main boulevard, and the marina.

FireRide Festival
November 25th and 26th, 2022

For two days, you can watch as bikers’ race, throw tricks and participate in a whip off battle for all to see. With live music, DJ sets, food and drinks, this is where you will want to be.
