The exquisite fusion of Mexican flavors was once again celebrated in the tenth edition of Culinaria Mexicana’s Guía México Gastronómico (Mexico Gastronomic Guide). This year, with the sponsorship of Larousse Cocina, S. Pellegrino and Nespresso, the award ceremony brought together the crème de la crème of the national culinary scene at the Hotel Presidente Intercontinental in Mexico City on January 21st, 2024.

Renowned for its impartiality and rigor, this guide boasts a panel of 70 experts, including specialized journalists, sommeliers, influencers and food lovers, who tirelessly travel the country in search of the most authentic tastes and memorable gastronomic experiences.

In this edition, Vallarta · Nayarit shone brightly as some of its culinary establishments were highlighted as some of the best in the country. In Puerto Vallarta, emblematic names such as Café des Artistes, Icú, Makal and Tintoque were recognized for their unparalleled quality, creativity and service. Recognized not only for their gastronomic excellence, but also for the consistency and sensory experiences they offer their guests, these restaurants have established the region as a top culinary destination.

On the other hand, Punta de Mita presented its high-caliber gastronomic offerings: Codex at Conrad and Hector’s Kitchen, restaurants known for their innovation and commitment to local and global flavors, in addition to providing an experience that includes creativity and high-quality service.

Each award-winning restaurant is a living testament to the talent and passion that drives the country’s culinary industry, attracting national and international diners in search of unforgettable experiences.

In this way, Culinaria Mexicana’s Guía México Gastronómico illuminates and celebrates the flavors, traditions, and creativity that make the Mexican table a true feast for the senses.

“We have been clients of Vallarta Lifestyles since 1999, the year in which we arrived to this destination. Back then, it was the only publication where you could really do local marketing. These days, in spite of the arrival of new technologies, we keep advertising, because it is a really important complement for our marketing strategy.”

“Vallarta Lifestyles has readers from Punta de Mita to Mismaloya and beyond, so announcing my business, means the positioning and recognition of my agency throughout the region. The contents of the magazine are very interesting, because they provide relevant information about activities in the destination. I am pleased to see it at hotels, restaurants and galleries, but what excites me the most is to see people with their issue in hand. That is really relevant for us.”

“Vallarta Lifestyles, from its inception has been a quality reference. In some way, it has managed to consolidate the destination because all our restaurants where there and we communicate as an exchange platform. The benefit, besides advertisement and recommendation, is that this publication is a solid copy of Puerto Vallarta’s evolution. If you pick up an old issue, immediately you’ll recall precious memories.”
