Florios Restaurant & Bar just became the first new restaurant to sign up for Vallarta Lifestyles’s Restaurant Week, 2017 edition. Despite the fact that the highly-anticipated anual culinary event will not take place for another ten months, the Italian-Argentinean eatery is eager to take advantage of the new promotional benefits recently introduced by Restaurant Week through its new website and Foodie Report, the new, monthly newsletter delivered free of charge of Vallarta foodies looking for special promotions.

“We’ve been aware of the success Restaurant Week has had through the years,” commented Alan Yamil, who oversees Florios’ promotional and advertising efforts. “When we learned that new restaurants can sign up for Restaurant Week now to take advantage of Foodie Report, we jumped at the opportunity. We plan to complement our social media strategy with the promotions delivered through the monthly newsletter. By targeting tourists and locals that enjoy fine dining, we hope they will visit Florios to discover what makes it a truly special restaurant in Puerto Vallarta’s El Centro.”

Florios is fortunate to have opened its doors some four years ago at a building that once was the home of Puerto Vallarta’s first mayor, Jesús Langarica, back in 1918. “It is a traditional vallartense home with lots of tradition. Most of the structure is intact, so we are honored to be located here,” explained owner, Miguel Valenzuela, who hails from Cordoba, a province in Argentina. The restaurant offers a delicious combination of traditional Italian and Argentinean dishes, many of which are prepared in a unique, exposed brick oven. “All our breads are made here as well,” commented chef Hugo Chavez. In addition, Florios features special themed nights every Friday that combine special menus with related live entertainment, providing guests a variety culinary and visual experiences in a friendly, casual atmosphere.

Florios Restaurant & Bar is located at Galeana 185 in Puerto Vallarta’s El Centro neighborhood. For more information, please visit their Facebook page. To learn about Florios’ upcoming specials, along with those of other Restaurant Week participants, visit RestaurantWeekPV.com, where you will be able to sign up for Foodie Report, which is delivered to your inbox the first day of every month.

“Vallarta Lifestyles is very helpful for someone who arrives for the first time to the destination, because through its content one can discover really nice places to visit. Besides, it is a guide for us as residents, because we know from a good source the new things we can do. People take the magazine and in one place they find hotels, restaurants, galleries, real estate and other featured services.”

“Vallarta Lifestyles has readers from Punta de Mita to Mismaloya and beyond, so announcing my business, means the positioning and recognition of my agency throughout the region. The contents of the magazine are very interesting, because they provide relevant information about activities in the destination. I am pleased to see it at hotels, restaurants and galleries, but what excites me the most is to see people with their issue in hand. That is really relevant for us.”

“One of the biggest benefits of advertising our business in Vallarta Lifestyles is the presence of our brand aimed to the audience we are looking for. It is a reliable and professional magazine that has helped us with the marketing of our restaurant several times, through well done photography or articles. We feel that we understand each other.”
