On Friday, January 13th, 2023, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, Galería Contempo (Basilio Badillo 252, Emiliano Zapata) will host the first art exhibition in Puerto Vallarta by artist JAAR.

Originally from CMDX, JAAR will present a colorful collection of oil paintings on canvas. It is a strange connection with the oneiric world, where the magic of imagination and memories lead to travel to the funniest corners of the memory that many times are not even remembered.

The lines used in his acrylics and oils pieces mark a drastic change as in a musical composition, from a piano to a fortissimo, to steal viewer’s attention and generate a jolt in the imagination.

The brushstrokes made with a single intention: run through the canvases and papers. The colors travel from the paint pots to the canvas without being mixed, leaving the trace of the pigments at random, as if it were a dance.
