Galería Contempo’s New Talents
To welcome the winter season of 2019, Galería Contempo has announced the inclusion of new work by the plastic artists Ilse Taylor Hable (Austria) and Danco Duportai (Cuba).
Ilse Taylor Hable has 32 years of experience and her works stand out due to the realism and subjectivness imprinted in her paintings, as well as for representing the beauty of different landscapes of Mexico. Furthermore, her portraits stand out for reflecting the personality and mood of each of her models.
Taylor Hable had her first solo exhibition at La Jolla, California in 1987. She has had 17 solo exhibitions and 39 collective ones in Mexico and the United States, besides, she participated in the creation of three monumental murals in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
Danco Duportai is recognized for his paintings with minimalist details that are able to tell stories, create memories and even freeze moments of the common life and turn them into art.
In 2017, Duportai had an artistic residence at Paramaribo, Suriname. Besides, he offered painting lessons at the Aruba’s academy of design and his work has been exhibited in destinations such as Florida, Naples, Beirut and Mexico.
