To welcome the winter season of 2019, Galería Contempo has announced the inclusion of new work by the plastic artists Ilse Taylor Hable (Austria) and Danco Duportai (Cuba).

Ilse Taylor Hable has 32 years of experience and her works stand out due to the realism and subjectivness imprinted in her paintings, as well as for representing the beauty of different landscapes of Mexico. Furthermore, her portraits stand out for reflecting the personality and mood of each of her models.

Taylor Hable had her first solo exhibition at La Jolla, California in 1987. She has had 17 solo exhibitions and 39 collective ones in Mexico and the United States, besides, she participated in the creation of three monumental murals in Guadalajara, Jalisco.

Danco Duportai is recognized for his paintings with minimalist details that are able to tell stories, create memories and even freeze moments of the common life and turn them into art.

In 2017, Duportai had an artistic residence at Paramaribo, Suriname. Besides, he offered painting lessons at the Aruba’s academy of design and his work has been exhibited in destinations such as Florida, Naples, Beirut and Mexico.

“Vallarta Lifestyles is very helpful for someone who arrives for the first time to the destination, because through its content one can discover really nice places to visit. Besides, it is a guide for us as residents, because we know from a good source the new things we can do. People take the magazine and in one place they find hotels, restaurants, galleries, real estate and other featured services.”

“Vallarta Lifestyles has readers from Punta de Mita to Mismaloya and beyond, so announcing my business, means the positioning and recognition of my agency throughout the region. The contents of the magazine are very interesting, because they provide relevant information about activities in the destination. I am pleased to see it at hotels, restaurants and galleries, but what excites me the most is to see people with their issue in hand. That is really relevant for us.”

“Without doubt, Vallarta Lifestyles is the best positioned Magazine in the region. Its solid presence keeps a strong and always fresh vision about the destination, as well as activities. Besides, I consider it a great intellectual contribution for the well written articles that are in each issue.”
