Galeria Corsica Celebrates 20th Anniversary
20 years ago, Galeria Corsica was founded in Puerto Vallarta by Jean Pierre Renucci. Since then, this renowned art gallery has changed, revolutionized and set trends in this increasingly cosmopolitan destination, bringing the best masters of Mexican art.
Today, Galeria Corsica is a group of four galleries: two in Puerto Vallarta (Galeria Corsica and Galeria Emotions by Corsica) and two in Cabo (Galeria Corsica Cabo and Galeria Emotions by Corsica Cabo). Together, they cover a surface of almost 10,000 square feet of Mexican contemporary art, which makes them one of the biggest art galleries in Mexico.
Galeria Corsica represents more than 60 artists, where big masters like José Luis Cuevas, Irma Palacios, Gabriel Macotela, Alberto Castro Leñero, José Castro Leñero, Roger von Gunten, Manuel Felguerez and Leonora Carrington, among many others, stand out.
“In a very dynamic market, we are always striving to offer our clientele a wide array of talent, styles, techniques, media, and hues for which we are constantly searching for new artists and trends in international markets, traveling extensively throughout Mexico and the main markets abroad,” said Jean Pierre Renucci, owner and curator of Galeria Corsica.
Finally, Renucci added: “A big thank you to our clients, artists and collaborators for your unconditional support and preference throughout these 20 years!”
