Innovative Travel Insurance with Medical Coverage to Come to Vallarta · Nayarit Announced

Recently, the launch of an innovative travel insurance with medical coverage was announced for visitors to Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit, who will be protected against any unforeseen medical event, including those derived from COVID-19 contagion. 

This insurance is an initiative created by SB Realtors and Novamar Insurance Mexico, and it is supported by the SANMARÉ Clinic, Hospitales Joya and Mapfre, the company that underwrites the policy. 

“True to our aim of promoting Vallarta · Nayarit internationally and marking the leadership in the industry, we thought and launched a comprehensive product to respond to the new demands caused by COVID-19,” said Alexis Silva, founder/CO-CEO of SB Realtors. 

This product will be marketed as an improvement to the usual travel insurances, but incorporating coverage related to COVID-19, which will provide greater guarantees to travelers when traveling and throughout their stay in our destination. 

“This insurance, which must be purchased before traveling, gives you the peace of mind of coming to Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit right now, since medical coverage is offered for up to 350,000 USD. Among other things, it also includes emergency medical transportation, dental emergency, medications, repatriation for medical reasons, expenses for family members in case they have to accompany the patient, and hospital extension for up to 15 days,” explained Roberto Castellanos, general director of Novamar Insurance Mexico. 

This insurance is designed for ages 0 to 75, although it can also be used by people aged 76 to 86 with a slight increase. Its price starts at 51 USD for 7 days, but the coverage can be extended to 15, 30, 60, 90, 120 and 180 days.
