“Juntos por la Salud” Provides Supplies to Riviera Nayarit Medical Staff

“Juntos por la Salud” (“Together for Health”) is an initiative carried out by BBVA México with the support of TecSalud, as well as by the generosity of Nayarit businessmen and the participation of Fundación BBVA.

This program seeks to deliver 3.3 million supplies to public hospitals in the country, including gloves, face masks, masks, boot covers and goggles.

“Juntos por la Salud” is led by Funsalud, Fundación BBVA México, UNAM and Tecnológico de Monterrey, but BBVA regional advisers in Mexico have also joined, under the scheme of adopting a hospital.

The Nayarit hospitals benefited are the Hospital General de Zona 1 in Tepic, Hospital General de Zona 10 in Santiago and, recently, Hospital General de Zona 33 in Bahía de Banderas (located in San Vicente), a place where, among other personalities, Dr. Jaime Cuevas, municipal president of Bahía de Banderas and counselor Pietro Rizzuto—who led the delivery—attended.

Currently, 120,000 quality medical supplies and a total of 3,167 kits have been delivered in Nayarit.

“Juntos por la Salud” is carrying out these high-demand deliveries in public hospitals dedicated to the care of patients with COVID-19 throughout the entire country.
