The Puerto Vallarta’s natural treasures will be exposed in the “La Bahía de Mi Vida” (The Bay of my Life) documentary, a production directed by Mati Covarrubias. This film is focused on presenting the beauty of the region through an emotive visual content.

This documentary is still in the production process and it revolves around the relationship between human beings and nature. Ten guardians (men and women) who dedicate part of their lives to the preservation of the natural treasures in the Banderas Bay and the towns of the Sierra Madre Occidental will be featured.

This documentary’s main objective is to achieve both national and international exposure to show the Puerto Vallarta’s beauty through an emotional narrative that promotes the attraction of visitors.

Likewise, it is expected that this audiovisual product will rise awareness in people about the preservation of natural resources in Puerto Vallarta, learning more about its history, ecology and ecosystems.

“La Bahía de Mi Vida” is looking for entering the main international streaming platforms and its recordings will continue until December 2021. It is estimated that the duration of this film will be 90 minutes.

Mati Covarrubias, general director and author of the documentary, is a direct descendant of Guadalupe Sánchez, founder of Puerto Vallarta.
