The North American electric scooter company began operations in the destination with the aim of revolutionizing sustainable electric transport.

Lime, the largest and most innovative company of shared electric scooters in the world, announced the beginning of operations in Vallarta · Nayarit. Thus, the alternative urban transport system can be used from today in Nuevo Vallarta and Marina Vallarta, making Vallarta · Nayarit the first beach destination to offer this service.

During the first phase of the mobility project, electric scooters will gradually be added to more streets in Jalisco and Nayarit, in order to have presence throughout the destination to facilitate the mobility of both residents and visitors.

“By systematically deploying electric scooters in Vallarta · Nayarit, we join actions to improve mobility conditions, with a sustainable alternative that reduces pollution, vehicle saturation and the replacement of short trips with alternative transport,” said Alexander Wieland, general manager of Lime for Mexico.

To use these electric scooters, it is necessary to follow these steps:

· Download the Lime app.
· Check the availability of scooters using the GPS they have integrated.
· Unlock the service by scanning a QR code using the Lime app.
· At the end of the journey, block the service and pay quickly and safely.

The price of the scooter service is $20 pesos per unlock and $3 pesos per minute used.

“In a meeting that we had with the magazine’s founder, he told us about his dream of making a quality and luxury publication because he was convinced that Puerto Vallarta needed that. For that reason, we have advertised in Vallarta Lifestyles since its beginnings. These days, our brand is very well positioned thanks to the strategic distribution of the magazine, as it helps us reach more potential customers which is a great benefit for us.”

“We have been clients of Vallarta Lifestyles since 1999, the year in which we arrived to this destination. Back then, it was the only publication where you could really do local marketing. These days, in spite of the arrival of new technologies, we keep advertising, because it is a really important complement for our marketing strategy.”

“Vallarta Lifestyles has readers from Punta de Mita to Mismaloya and beyond, so announcing my business, means the positioning and recognition of my agency throughout the region. The contents of the magazine are very interesting, because they provide relevant information about activities in the destination. I am pleased to see it at hotels, restaurants and galleries, but what excites me the most is to see people with their issue in hand. That is really relevant for us.”
