The first worldwide all-inclusive hotel by Marriott International will be located in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, Riviera Nayarit.

The world’s largest hotel chain (with 30 brands and more than 7,000 properties in 131 countries and territories) announced the signing of an agreement that includes the transformation of the current 117-room Grand Matlali Hills Resort & Spa into a property that will be rebranded and managed by Marriott International in 2021, with plans in place to expand to 300 rooms by 2023.

“We are excited to work with PB Puerto Bahía Residence to convert this property into the first all-inclusive Delta Hotels by Marriott globally and bring this concept to Vallarta · Nayarit,” said Laurent de Kousemaeker, chief development officer of Marriott International.

For his part, Armando Véjar, CEO of PB Puerto Bahía Residence, commented that bringing this new concept and brand to Riviera Nayarit will increase the offer for visitors and attract a new segment to the destination.

Currently, Marriott International has signed 146 projects in Latin America and the Caribbean, which represents more than 24,000 rooms.

“Advertising in Vallarta Lifestyles has been one of the best decisions we have made for the benefit of our business, because it has always helped us reach our prospects accurately. The magazine’s distribution throughout the destination is unique and strategic, as it reaches readers who are the type of clients we are looking for.”

“Vallarta Lifestyles speaks for itself, it’s a good quality publication with great image, that’s why we have advertised since we started our business. Without any doubt, it is the most read magazine. Its articles and advertising are target to the audience we’re looking for. Vallarta Lifestyles has grown the same way Puerto Vallarta has.”

“We started to advertise 7 or 8 years ago and certainly it has helped us position our brand. Now that we have improved a lot in quality, processes and finished products, our marketing in the magazine is precisely to strengthen the leadership we have earned through the 13 years in the area. I also think that we also have grown with the advertisement and that it has been done and it has helped us get to where we are now.”
