May: The Month of Diversity and Gastronomy in Puerto Vallarta

In order to highlight all of this, during the month of May, Puerto Vallarta hosts two events that are well established among residents and visitors:
Vallarta Pride
Vallarta Pride runs from May 19th to 28th, 2023.
Vallarta Pride is an annual event celebrating the diverse LGBT+ community that lives in and visits Puerto Vallarta. The program of activities includes the Pride Parade, as well as cultural and artistic events, movie screenings, sports, fashion shows and much more. In 2023, Vallarta Pride is themed “Be proud of your nature”, celebrating the natural richness of flora and fauna that makes Puerto Vallarta one of the world’s leading places to celebrate LGBT+ Pride.
Restaurant Week
Restaurant Week runs from May 15th to June 10th, 2023.
Restaurant Week features many of Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit’s most coveted restaurants. Participating establishments offer innovative three-course menus, with three options available for each course. Since the prices are often discounted by up to 50%, dining out during Restaurant Week is not only more fun, but also much more affordable. Participating restaurants can choose to offer their special, Restaurant Week menu at 344, 459 or 575 pesos per person, tips and beverages not included.
