Nayarit Ocean Fest to Take Place in La Cruz

B Nayar Village and Resort will host the First Annual Nayarit Ocean Fest, this Sunday, June 26. Sponsored by Timothy Real Estate Group, the event hopes to celebrate the ocean and brainstorm on how to protect the beautiful Banderas Bay.

Activities will start at 2 pm, and they include stand up paddleboard (SUP) races, SUP polo, yoga on the beach, an art tent for kids and a performance by Prana Collective cirque graduates. The event will also feature presentations about marine biology and ocean conservation, great local food, drinks, and music by DJ Nick Challed. The evening’s surprise will be a drawing to win a special prize.

Access to the event is $50 pesos for children and $100 pesos for adults. Tickets can be purchased at the following venues:

• Gecko Car Rental in Bucerias
• B Nayar Village & Resort Discovery Center and Marina Riviera Nayarit in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle
• Aequilibrium Bikes and Timothy Real Estate Group in Puerto Vallarta
• La Hamaca in Sayulita.

Funds raised will be donated to La Cruz Education Fund, through The Punta de Mita Foundation.
