The Brand New Sustainable Tourist Attraction of Puerto Vallarta
‘Turicleto’, the brand new, fun and eco-friendly tourist attraction in Puerto Vallarta has arrived. It is an innovative and sustainable tourist vehicle in which visitors will be able to tour Downtown Puerto Vallarta and know its tourist attractions for free.
This sustainable vehicle has an approximate capacity for 20 people and moves with the energy generated by the pedal power of ten of the passengers. On board the ‘Turicleto’, visitors will be able to tour Downtown Puerto Vallarta for free, joined by a bilingual guide who will explain the history of Puerto Vallarta and show the most iconic tourist attractions of the destination.
The mayor of Puerto Vallarta, Arturo Dávalos, indicated that this initiative of the Municipal Tourism Office is part of the efforts that the Local Government is carrying out to rescue and revitalize Downtown Puerto Vallarta.
The ‘Turicleto’ was presented this week at the Puerto Vallarta Malecón, where the mayor was joined by the regional Tourism Director of the State, Ludwig Estrada Virgen; The creator of the project, Hari Sahib Noah Lara Muñoz, as well as councilors, officials and representatives of the city.
“We know that our tourist vocation forces us to innovate, to live up to the environmental challenges and to diversify the attractions of the destination, starting from the heart of Puerto Vallarta,” said Puerto Vallarta Mayor Arturo Dávalos, regarding the new tourist attraction.
The ‘Turicleto’ will make two daily free tours, at 9:00am and 12:00pm. Donations are welcome for maintenance.
