During January and February 2023, Puerto Vallarta registered an increase in the number of passengers arriving by air, consolidating once again as one of the preferred destinations for both national and international travelers.

Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico (GAP) indicates that during February, the Puerto Vallarta International Airport presented a 31.9 percent growth compared to the same period in 2022, handling a total of 614,600 passengers, of which 183,500 were domestic and 431,100 internationals.

These figures are in addition to the excellent results obtained last January, where the airport registered a total passenger increase of 46.5 percent, positioning it above Los Cabos, Guadalajara and Tijuana.

Thanks to its excellent connectivity, the Puerto Vallarta International Airport has received 1,301,700 passengers from Mexico, the United States, Canada and Europe during the first two months of the year.

In addition to this, it is worth mentioning that Puerto Vallarta has registered an average hotel occupancy rate of 85 percent during the last four months, positioning it as the number one beach destination in Mexico.

“Vallarta Lifestyles is a platform that allows us to reach the kind of market that we’re looking for. I think that, since its beginnings, 30 years ago, it has been the best publication of the destination. There’s no doubt that part of our success is for the advertising that we have in the magazine.”

“Among other things, Vallarta Lifestyles stands out for its strong presence throughout our destination, from five stars hotels to brand new condominiums, where they finally find the type of clients that we look for. For all of us is very important to be in print media to strengthen our advertising strategy and this magazine is essential to achieve it.”

“In a meeting that we had with the magazine’s founder, he told us about his dream of making a quality and luxury publication because he was convinced that Puerto Vallarta needed that. For that reason, we have advertised in Vallarta Lifestyles since its beginnings. These days, our brand is very well positioned thanks to the strategic distribution of the magazine, as it helps us reach more potential customers which is a great benefit for us.”
