Galería Contempo will host watercolor painter Oscar Giacinti’s opening reception this coming Friday, March 8, from 6:00pm – 10:00pm. This is a perfect opportunity to meet the Mexican artists and admire the complexity of his work.
Born in the state of Aguascalientes, Oscar graduated in Architecture from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education in 1989. In the late 90s, he learned arts and culture from master Benjamín Manzo Hernández and soon after became a lecturer at the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes. He’s also been a member of the Municipal Council for the Culture and Arts and the organizer of the Casa Terán Annual Auction.
In 2002, Giacinti was appointed one of the best 23 watercolor painters in the world by the book “Still Life Watercolor”, issued by the English publishing company AVA. The artist has exhibited in many cities in Mexico and the United States. Check out some of his paintings by clicking here.
