Palmares is one of Puerto Vallarta’s most well-known beaches, as it was one of the first to receive the prestigious Blue Flag certification, which means it is one of the cleanest not only in the destination, but in the entire country. In addition, it stands out for being one of the most inclusive in the bay, offering a concrete ramp specially designed so that people with disabilities can also enjoy contact with nature.

Highlighted by its wide strip of light gold sand and blue waters with small waves, this beach is ideal for spending a quiet day with your companions.

In addition, at the upper part of the beach, right next to the parking lot, there is a large platform that offers a magnificent view of the bay. Here, you can set the tripod, prepare the camera and capture one of the impressive sunsets, where the diversity of colors melts from warm yellows, oranges and reds, to delicate pink and violet tones that, when tinting the sky, magically reflect on the sea.

Due to its location between the Garza Blanca and Punta Negra beaches, getting to Palmares Beach via Highway 200 South will be a very enjoyable trip, as it allows you to observe how the impressive villas and condominiums manage to blend in with the lush jungle vegetation.
