The non-profit organization Peace Punta de Mita—which develops several community and educational programs aimed at children and families at the north of Banderas Bay—has announced their Community Market to be held on Saturday July 1st starting at 8:00am at the Nuevo Corral del Risco parking lot.

The event will feature stalls with delicious food, local products and live music. All proceeds will go directly to development and community projects in the Punta de Mita area.

Founded by a group of expats and foreign residents in the Punta Mita development, since 2013 Peace Punta de Mita has benefited the communities of Nuevo Corral del Risco and Emiliano Zapata (an area most commonly known as Punta de Mita) through the implementation of programs that nurture empowerment and personal development, such as the English language training and free computing classes.

The Community Market is the result of their program “Champions”, which involves local, outstanding secondary school students in the improvement of their neighborhoods.

“We started to advertise in Vallarta Lifestyles because since its beginnings and to date it keeps using modern technological equipment to produce it and it is possible to notice that in the quality of the magazine, which offers interesting topics about the life of our destination through its articles and interviews to well known personalities. Actually, I keep a collection in my personal library.”

“There are lots of reasons why we have advertised in Vallarta Lifestyles for several years. One of them is that they know pretty well their target, because they know who are their readers and they adapt as much as possible the content and material that is offered. For these reasons they have a growing number of readers which is very important for us. Another reason is that many people  —including us— think that the magazine has been as a serious publication since its beginnings. Historically, Vallarta Lifestyles has known how to capture the audience and has done it pretty well."

“Advertising in Vallarta Lifestyles is an easy and direct way to reach all of the visitors and new residents that arrive to the destination. Of the 30 years that the magazine has been in circulation, we have been advertising for 23 years and without any doubt, it has been worthy for the big positioning that we have achieved. Besides, the quality of contents its unique in this area.”
