Puerto Vallarta Begins to Reopen Beaches
After a meticulous analysis of the good practices of the new sanitary measures in our destination, the government of the state of Jalisco approved the gradual reopening of beaches and hotel’s common areas in Puerto Vallarta, as of June 15th, 2020.
During this new phase called “Individual Responsibility”, residents and visitors will be able to enjoy their favorite beaches once again, as long as they follow the hygiene and social distancing protocols that are still in place.
As well, hotels in Vallarta · Nayarit will operate at 30 percent capacity; however, only the Puerto Vallarta resorts will be able to open their beaches, swimming pools and recreational spaces under the established sanitary guidelines.
In addition, starting today, different establishments will operate again throughout Jalisco, such as:
· Commercial spaces, at 25 percent parking space capacity, from Monday to Friday, without common areas and only one person per family will be allowed to access.
· Gyms and sports clubs, at 25 percent capacity and only for individual activities.
· Commercial corridors, with restriction of entry to one person per family.
· Churches, at 25 percent capacity and less than 50 people on site.
Currently, the protocols for the gradual reopening of bars and nightclubs are still under evaluation.
