Puerto Vallarta Garden Club Announces April Meeting
The Puerto Vallarta Garden Club has announced their April meeting, to take place at Di Vino Dante on April 21, at 5 pm. The meeting will feature guest speaker Fernando Vasquez, director of public relations for Puerto Vallarta’s Department of Ecology. His presence will provide those attending the opportunity to lear first-hand about some of the plans the city of Puerto Vallarta is putting in action, as they relate to the greening of the city.
With a variety of projects in place at any given time, from planting trees throughout the city, to organizing festive fundraising events to fulfill their mission statement, the Puerto Vallarta Garden Club is one of the most dynamic volunteer organizations in town. Joining the organization and/or volunteering for any of their projects will not only broaden your social circle; it will also allow you to participate—along with kindred spirits—in the beautification and greening of Puerto Vallarta. For example, if you have admired the beautiful bougainvilleas planted along Basilio Badillo in Colonia Emiliano Zapata, you have the Puerto Vallarta Garden Club to thank!
The Puerto Vallarta Garden Club is a registered nonprofit, public benefit Mexican corporation. The organization supports not only a more beautiful, clean and verdant city, but is also making it more attractive to tourism, thus creating a vibrant economy to support all the other great causes in Puerto Vallarta. Its very thorough website offers detailed information about their ongoing projects, membership options and donation and volunteering opportunities. For more information, you can also email their current president, Bonita Mott.
Di Vino Dante is located on Basilio Badillo 269, Second Floor, in Emiliano Zapata.
