A couple of days ago, the second edition of the Puerto Vallarta LuminiaFest was officially presented at a press conference. The event will take place December 30 and 31 at the Malecon and the Agustin Flores Contreras sports center.

The program of activities features two musical fireworks displays: the first by the Puerto Vallarta pyrotechnist Marcelo Mantecón (on December 30); and the second by Mexican pyrotechnist Pablo Hernández (December 31). Before each of these musical fireworks displays, there will be performances by various jazz, rock and mariachi music groups. Entry will be free of charge.

At the press conference, it was also announced the 17th edition of the International Fireworks Symposium, to take place April 2019 in Puerto Vallarta.

The second edition of the Puerto Vallarta LuminiaFest is possible thanks to the collaboration of the Secretariat of Culture, the Cámara de Diputados LXIII Legislatura, the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Board and the Puerto Vallarta Municipal Government.

The event was announced by Ramón González Lomelí, director of the Municipal Tourism Office; Rodolfo de Jesús Hurtado Ortega, alderman; Javier Aranda Pedrero, director of the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Board; Marcelo Mantecón, pyrotechnist and Irma Salamanca, event’s coordinator.

“Vallarta Lifestyles has readers from Punta de Mita to Mismaloya and beyond, so announcing my business, means the positioning and recognition of my agency throughout the region. The contents of the magazine are very interesting, because they provide relevant information about activities in the destination. I am pleased to see it at hotels, restaurants and galleries, but what excites me the most is to see people with their issue in hand. That is really relevant for us.”
