Jalisco has consolidated its position as a leading destination in meeting tourism, which accounts for 20.4 percent of the state’s tourism activity. With the organization of approximately 60,000 meetings per year, including congresses, conventions, exhibitions and fairs, our state has managed to attract attention not only nationally, but also internationally.

In this way, Puerto Vallarta is becoming a prominent destination for this market, positioning itself as a privileged place for meeting tourism with its unique infrastructure and characteristics. The city not only has a first-class hotel offering, but also the International Convention Center (CICPV), a key venue that facilitates the hosting of large-scale events.

In addition, Puerto Vallarta’s strategic location allows access by both land and air, making it one of the most convenient destinations for holding conventions, meetings and exhibitions. This, combined with its attractive coastal environment, attracts an additional flow of 15 to 20 percent more attendees compared to urban destinations and 5 to 10 percent more compared to other beach destinations.

The Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center can accommodate up to 5,000 attendees. In addition, the CICPV offers state-of-the-art services, from advanced technology to commercial facilities and networking spaces. Most importantly, it is the only convention center in the world adjacent to a protected natural area, demonstrating a unique commitment to sustainability and environmental preservation.

The CICPV has hosted prestigious events such as those organized by the World Tourism Organization and the United Nations with the World Economic Forum. Recently, a significant investment of 25 million pesos was made in the renovation of the CICPV, solidifying it as a modern and cutting-edge space.

In the hotel sector, Puerto Vallarta has a complete value chain for organizing events:
Sheraton Buganvilias Resort & Convention Center
15 meeting rooms with a capacity for 1,200 people.

Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa
15 meeting rooms with a capacity for 700 people.

The Westin Resort & Spa Puerto Vallarta
13 meeting rooms with a capacity for 600 people.

Hilton Vallarta Riviera All-Inclusive Resort
1 convention center that can be divided into 11 meeting rooms with a capacity for 900 people in banquet style and 1,200 in auditorium style.

“When I first opened my gallery in 1986, my relationship with Vallarta Lifestyles started for the need of people to know me and, because it is one of the very few quality publications in the destination, I decided to advertise in it. There are clients that still remember me for the magazine, with whom I have had several years of relationship.”

“Among other things, Vallarta Lifestyles stands out for its strong presence throughout our destination, from five stars hotels to brand new condominiums, where they finally find the type of clients that we look for. For all of us is very important to be in print media to strengthen our advertising strategy and this magazine is essential to achieve it.”
