Condé Nast Traveler has announced nominees for the 30th edition of its Reader’s Choice Awards and Riviera Nayarit hotels have made it to the list, with several options in diverse categories.

The online voting period has already started and closes on July 1st. The final results will be revealed on September 27.

15 Riviera Nayarit hotels are nominated: Nuevo Vallarta’s Occidental Grand, Hard Rock Hotel, Grand Velas, Marival Resort and Dreams Villamagna; Flamingos’ Villa del Palmar, Villa La Estancia and Samba Hotel.

The following resorts located in the Punta Mita and Higuera Blanca area are also competing: Four Seasons, St. Regis, W Punta de Mita, Grand Palladium, Hotel Cinco and Imanta. Last but not least, Rincón de Guayabitos’ Villa Corona del Mar is also on the list.

It is worth noting that Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, St. Regis Punta Mita, Grand Velas and Hard Rock hotels ranked among the top 25 in the 2015 and 2016 Reader’s Choice Awards editions.

Last year, more than 300,000 travelers voted for their favorite resorts, setting a new record that generated 75,000 comments that helped this prestigious magazine select the winners.

“Vallarta Lifestyles has readers from Punta de Mita to Mismaloya and beyond, so announcing my business, means the positioning and recognition of my agency throughout the region. The contents of the magazine are very interesting, because they provide relevant information about activities in the destination. I am pleased to see it at hotels, restaurants and galleries, but what excites me the most is to see people with their issue in hand. That is really relevant for us.”

“When I first opened my gallery in 1986, my relationship with Vallarta Lifestyles started for the need of people to know me and, because it is one of the very few quality publications in the destination, I decided to advertise in it. There are clients that still remember me for the magazine, with whom I have had several years of relationship.”

“We have a close relationship with Vallarta Lifestyles. Since it beginnings, it has been the most important media for the touristic promotion of our destination. Its content has always been excellent, due to the quality of its articles and spectacular photos. For the type of readers that it reaches, this the ideal publication to advertise our listings.”
