Seasonal Flights Will Connect Puerto Vallarta to Puebla
A new seasonal flight service by Mexican airline VivAerobus conncecting Puerto Vallarta and the city of Puebla de Zaragoza between December 17 and January 7, as well as during the next Holy Week, is a good excuse to go and visit one of the best-known Colonial cities in Mexico.
Located 100 km east of Mexico City, Puebla is considered by many to be the gastronomic capital of Mexico, with culinary delights such as the Mole Poblano, the Chalupas and the Cemitas. As well as being a place for food-enthusiasts, Puebla is full of colonial gems. Its’ large historic center has been designated as a World Heritage Site by Unesco, with monuments, streets and squares full of history, culture, restaurants, cafés and galleries. Puebla’s historic center is home to the impressive Zocalo –the main square–, where the Cathedral and the Town Hall are located, among other treasures.
