Secrets Bahía Mita and Dreams Bahía Mita Arrive in Riviera Nayarit

Riviera Nayarit is celebrating the opening of two new luxury hotels: Secrets® Bahía Mita Surf & Spa Resort (278 rooms) and Dreams® Bahía Mita Surf & Spa Resort (363 rooms). Both complexes belong to the Apple Leisure Group’s AMResorts chain.

Eduardo Pinto, sales director of AMResorts, reported that the concept has been developed by Sordo Madaleno, one of the most recognized Mexican architects, who presents a modern, avant-garde and minimalist design.

Although their inauguration is scheduled for August 1, 2021 (which will add 641 rooms to Vallarta · Nayarit), their opening will be made in phases and following the health security protocols from both the hotel chain and the regional and national Mexican authorities.

These properties were built as a “mirror”, that is, on one side is the Dreams® Bahía Mita Surf & Spa Resort, a family hotel focused on surfing and, on the other side is the Secrets® Bahía Mita Surf & Spa Resort, a place exclusively for adults with a focus mainly on weddings and honeymoons.

“This combination of hotels is very convenient, since those who come to celebrate a wedding here can stay in one or another resort. In addition, we have a chapel, a spa with rooms for brides and eight different locations that include mountains, beach and gardens,” explained Pinto.

Their construction required an investment of more than 150 million dollars.
