If it is about creating facial harmony, beauty, rejuvenation and enhancement, Erika Lamas is the key in Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit, with more than two decades of experience in permanent makeup (also known as micropigmentation), popular for its rapid benefits to appearance and self-esteem.

In this series of three special articles, the Vallarta Lifestyles editorial staff met with this professional cosmetologist to learn more about her services and provide an excellent option if you want to look a fresh and renewed appearance that remains intact at all times.

Micropigmentation is a specialty of cosmetology that involves implanting pigment particles of vegetable origin in the skin layers, using a dermograph, with various objectives, such as creating a make-up effect, hiding alopecia and camouflaging scars and certain vitiligo spots, among others. The color lasts for approximately two to three years, thus avoiding retouching.

In this first part, we explore the benefits of hair micropigmentation or hair follicle simulation.

Hair Micropigmentation

Hair follicle simulation is a new process for men suffering hair loss. Through micropigmentation, color is implanted in balding areas, creating a density effect that simulates more hair.

Hair micropigmentation can also be performed on patients who have previously undergone hair transplants that did not work or remain unfinished.

“This is one of the jobs that gives me most satisfaction, because I have been contacted by men between 20 and 30 years old who already have this problem, and the result is impressive. Definitely, they feel more confident and have more self-esteem.”

If you want to know more about this service, contact Erika Lamas at (322) 221-0102 or through her social networks.

In the second part of this special we will learn about the benefits of Paramedical Micropigmentation.

“Vallarta Lifestyles has readers from Punta de Mita to Mismaloya and beyond, so announcing my business, means the positioning and recognition of my agency throughout the region. The contents of the magazine are very interesting, because they provide relevant information about activities in the destination. I am pleased to see it at hotels, restaurants and galleries, but what excites me the most is to see people with their issue in hand. That is really relevant for us.”

“When I first opened my gallery in 1986, my relationship with Vallarta Lifestyles started for the need of people to know me and, because it is one of the very few quality publications in the destination, I decided to advertise in it. There are clients that still remember me for the magazine, with whom I have had several years of relationship.”

“Vallarta Lifestyles has been a company that promotes a good image, which is very important to us. Companies and businesses with a broad trajectory in the destination know that this magazine helps them achieve a professional image in the market.”
