The Podfather’s Exclusive Punta Mita Mansion is for Sale!

Recently, different international media outlets, such as SFGATE, revealed that the famous “Jon” Rubinstein, better known as “The Podfather” for its active contribution in the iPod development, is selling its amazing property called Rancho R + R, located in the exclusive Punta Mita, Nayarit.

This 16,000 sq ft mansion offers a unique scenery facing the privileged beach of Punta Mita, a setting boasting white sand beaches and blue waters. Its value is close to $20 million dollars, and the property comes with an important collection of original art pieces from famous Mexican artists, as well as furniture and items that are part of its current decor.

The well known architects Alfonso López Baz y Javier Calleja were in charge of its exclusive design. While the distinctive decor was made by the interior designer Erika Krayer.

Jonathan J. “Jon” Rubinstein is a computer scientist and electrical engineer, who was fundamental in the iPod’s creation. During his professional career, he has worked at important companies such as Apple, Palm Inc., Bridgewater Associates and recently has started working with Amazon.
