The Puerto Vallarta International Airport Eliminates Use of Paper FMMs
Recently, the Puerto Vallarta International Airport has announced that Multiple Migratory Format (FMM) cards have been eliminated, which will directly benefit all international visitors who arrive in our destination, since they will considerably reduce their entry time by not completing this procedure.
As part of the strategies implemented by the National Migration Institute (INM), this program began on August 1st, 2022. In this way, international travelers no longer need to present this format (previously it was digital or printed) and their process to stamp the passport is now much more streamlined. Now, passing the migratory filter takes only about 10 minutes.
So far in 2022, the Puerto Vallarta International Airport has received an average of 1,106,550 international passengers.
Currently, Terminal 2 is being built, which will be a NET Zero (zero emissions) smart building, with significant savings in both energy and water consumption.
