On June 9th, 2022, a 32-volunteers group met around the Camarones River, which parallels to Av. Luis Donaldo Colosio in our city.

This group was formed between taxi drivers and staff from the Puerto Vallarta International Airport’s TPV transportation company, which managed to collect a total of 25 bags of waste.

“Thanks to the work done by these volunteers, with the rainy season already underway, all this trash is now not going to our ocean and beaches,” said John Benus, director and campaign coordinator of the War Against Trash.

This clean up activity began at 8:00am and conclude at 11:00am.

If you would like to be a future volunteer, please contact John Benus directly at (388) 105-0786 or (415) 331-0100 from the United States and Canada.
