Vallarta Nayarit Gastronómica Celebrates its 15th Edition
Puerto Vallarta is preparing to host another edition of Vallarta Nayarit Gastronómica, scheduled from September 29th to October 7th, 2023, bringing together renowned chefs, including Michelin-starred chefs, members of the 50 Best list, and celebrated Top Chef contestants. This year’s theme is “The Cooking Factor: Cooking a New Era.”
The event will take place at the Hotel Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta, where personalities from the culinary industry will meet with visitors, representatives from invited states and countries, as well as a select list of chefs, mixologists, sommeliers and exclusive events that will surprise each night in the region’s most picturesque settings.
The fifteenth edition of Vallarta Nayarit Gastronómica will feature private events offering unique experiences with nationally and internationally renowned chefs.
The culinary talent on show includes Michelin-starred chefs such as Begoña Rodrigo, from Valencia; Pepe Solla, from Galicia; and Kisco García, from Cordoba; as well as Carlos Gaytán, from Restaurant Tzuco and Ha’ from Xcaret México.
Additionally, there are names from the 50 Best list, including Pía Salazar, recognized as the World’s Best Pastry Chef by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants; Alejandro Chamorro, from Restaurant Nuema (#24 in Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants); as well as David Castro and Maribel Aldaco, from Restaurant Fauna (#16 in Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants), among others.
The event will also feature renowned chefs such as Inés Páez Nin, known as “Chef Tita” from the Master Chef program in the Dominican Republic, and chef Betty Vázquez, from Master Chef México. From Colombia, chef Jorge Jiménez will join, creating a constellation of celebrities and culinary maestros.
