Recently, both Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit were nominated in nine categories in the 2021 Travvy Awards (also known as the “Academy Awards” of the travel industry), which aim to recognize the highest quality standards in the tourism industry at the international level.

The Travvy Awards are given to the best destinations, airlines, cruise lines, hotels and tour operators, who are selected by some of the most recognized United States’ travel agents.

Puerto Vallarta was nominated in the following categories:

Best Culinary Destination in Mexico
Best Honeymoon Destination in Mexico
Best Tourism Board in Mexico

Riviera Nayarit was nominated in the following categories:

Best Destination in Mexico
Best Culinary Destination in Mexico
Best Honeymoon Destination in Mexico
Best Luxury Destination in Mexico
Best Tourism Board in Mexico
Best Wedding Destination in Mexico

The voting period is opening soon, and access will be available through the Travvy Awards website. The awards will be handed to the winners during a gala ceremony held on November 10, 2021, at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
