Warning Flags: Stay Safe on the Vallarta · Nayarit Beaches
On many occasions, when arriving at the beach, on the sand you can see a flag that indicates the conditions of the sea, as well as the cautions must be followed by any visitor in order to avoid a situation.
Green, yellow and red are intuitive colors, but there are two other warning flags that often go unnoticed.
With the aim to guarantee an enjoyable experience on the Puerto Vallarta and/or Riviera Nayarit beaches, we share the meaning of each of the warning flags that can be placed on our destination’s beaches.
Keep in mind that absence of flags does not assure safe waters.
